LEATHER SKIVING KNIFE - STRAIGHT

This tool, for both right-handed and left-handed users, allows you to skive leather, meaning to reduce its thickness (thinning the leather) to facilitate assembly or make edges.
Mastering this skiving knife requires a bit of practice on leather scraps.

This skiving knife, made of hardened steel, comes very well sharpened.

- Maintain your blade's edge by sharpening it regularly.
- For sharpening the blade, we recommend using a strop and sharpening paste, which you can find in the "Sharpening" section of our store. (See video tab)

Warning:
- This knife is extremely sharp; great caution is required when cutting or handling it.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- To prevent oxidation of the blade, it is factory-coated with a thin layer of oil that must be removed before first use.
