ROUND LEATHER SKIVING KNIFE

This tool, for right-handed and left-handed users, is used to skive leather, i.e., to reduce its thickness (thin the leather) to facilitate assembly or create turned edges.
Mastering this skiving knife requires a bit of practice on leather scraps.

This hardened steel skiving knife comes very well sharpened.

- Maintain the sharpness of your blade by regularly sharpening it.
- For sharpening the blade, we recommend using a strop and sharpening compound, which you can find in the "Sharpening" section of our shop. (See video tab)

Warning:
- This knife is extremely sharp; great caution is required when cutting or handling.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- To prevent oxidation of the blade, it is covered at the factory with a light layer of oil that must be removed before first use.
