LEATHER SKINNING BLADE - Slanted - For Right-Handed Users
This steel paring blade is specially designed for right-handed users.
This tool allows you to skive leather, that is, to remove thickness (thin the leather) in order to facilitate assembly or to make overhangs.
The edges of the tool are serrated for a better grip.
Mastering this paring blade properly requires some practice on scraps of leather.
This new paring blade comes sharpened, however for optimal use we advise you to refine the sharpening a little further using a strop and sharpening paste (see video).
