Description
DIE FOR PRESS 3960 FOR SETTING T28, T35 OR T41 RIVETS
This steel setting set is used with the Craftplus 3960 manual bench press to easily set rivets.
The laying set is made up of three pieces (L, U-1 and U-2).
Directions for use :
- Using a round punch, make a hole in your leather approximately corresponding to the diameter of the shank of your rivet (3 mm for the T28 rivet / 3.5 mm for the T35 rivet / 4 mm for the T41 rivet).
- Insert part L into the lower part of the press.
- Insert part U-1 into the upper part of the press. Place the head of the rivet on part L, insert the leather, then the washer. Press the press lever to tighten the rivet with the washer.
- Using wire cutters, cut off the excess stem, leaving approximately 2 mm.
- Insert part U-2 in place of part U-1. Press the press lever to clamp the rod onto the washer.

- For rivets with T28 (#14) mating washers (installation kit ref.: 3984-00)
- For rivets with T35 (#12) mating washers (installation kit ref.: 3983-02)
- For rivets with T41 (#9) mating washers (installation kit ref.: 3983-01)
Base diameter for insertion into the press: 9.4 mm
Not compatible with other brands of bench presses sold on our site.
