Good choice - Leather is a natural material, so there may be some slight imperfections, but these will only enhance your creation by demonstrating that it is indeed natural leather, therefore not 100% perfect as an artificial material might be.
Once used as a writing surface, as an alternative to papyrus, it was gradually replaced in the Middle Ages by paper. Today, it is mainly used for bookbinding, illumination, and the art of calligraphy. It is used for making percussion instruments (drums, djembes…), travel items (trunks, suitcases, luggage…), creating medieval objects (medieval reconstruction), and making lampshades whose transparency diffuses a soft and warm light.
Leather guaranteed from France.
