BENCH PRESS PUNCH
Round punch bits adaptable to the bench presses sold in our shop. They allow you to punch holes the diameter of the bit. They are screwed into the upper part of a press. For the lower part, you can use an Ertalon or brass anvil.The bits can also be used with a striking handle and an Ertalon plate.

Usage information:
This is professional equipment made of quality steel.
With prolonged use, the bits will lose their sharpness. You will therefore have to apply more and more force to make the cut, and they risk breaking.
To extend their lifespan, we recommend placing a sacrificial piece between the bit and the anvil.
When using small diameter punches (less than 4 mm), depending on the leather used (density, thickness, etc.), the leather cut may tend to get stuck in the tool's evacuation channel.
To prevent it from becoming severely blocked, we advise you to regularly remove the cuts using a small metal rod (round-tipped needle, round awl, etc.).
You can also facilitate the tool's cutting by applying a little beeswax to the punch's edge before each use.
