PRESS CUTTER
This high-quality round punch bit fits the bench presses sold on our website. It allows you to drill a hole the diameter of the bit. It is screwed into the upper part of a press. For the lower part, you can use an Ertalon or brass pile.
The bit can also be used with a striking handle and an Ertalon plate (ref. TA827 ).
Screw dimensions: Diameter 6 mm - Height: 10 mm
Hole diameter of your choice: from 1 to 10 mm
Usage information :
- This is professional equipment made of quality steel. However, punch bits have a limited lifespan. With use, they will lose their sharpness. You will therefore have to force more and more to make the cut and they risk breaking. To increase their lifespan, we recommend placing a martyr coin between the bit and the brass pile.
- Depending on the leather used (density, thickness, etc.), the leather cutting may tend to get stuck in the tool's discharge channel. To prevent it from becoming severely clogged, we recommend removing the cuttings regularly using a small metal rod (round-tipped needle, round awl, etc.). You can also make cutting easier by putting a little beeswax on the edge of the punch before each use.
