Knuckle punch bit for bench press -10 x 3mm

Knuckle punch bit to be used with a hammer handle and an Ertalon plate. It allows you to drill a hole the size of the bit.

This bit also fits on the bench presses sold in our shop. It is to be screwed into the upper part of a press. For the bottom part, you can use an Ertalon or brass heap.

Usage information :

- This is professional equipment made of high strength steel. However, cookie cutter bits have a limited lifespan. With use, they will lose their edge. It will therefore be necessary to force more and more to make the cut and they risk losing their sharpness and sharpening will be necessary. If you use them with a bench press, we advise you to put a martyr piece between the tip and the brass heap in order to increase their lifespan.
- We also advise you to tighten the bit securely on your bench press so as not to damage the thread.
- Depending on the leather used (density, thickness, etc.), the leather cutout may tend to get stuck in the tool's evacuation channel. In order to prevent it from clogging badly, we advise you to remove the cutouts each time you use it using a small metal rod (round tip needle, round awl, etc.). You can also make it easier to cut the tool by putting a little beeswax on the cutting edge of the cookie cutter before each use.
