Vegetable-tanned half neck leather in black, ideal for all your leather goods creations: belts, bags, saddlery, satchels, knife sheaths... The leather has good color intensity and a satin finish.

In the selected leather, more than 75% of the hide is usable.

This leather hide has been dyed in the mass at the tannery. The color is therefore very uniform, and the grain of the leather is covered with a protective layer of colored wax (which ensures its waterproofing).
It is a finished leather, meaning you cannot do tooling on it, but hot stamping works very well.

On the flesh side, the leather has received a layer of colored wax, giving it a nice finish and binding the fibers together.

On the half neck, the presence of wrinkles and small imperfections is possible. Along the periphery of the hide, drying clamp marks may also be visible.

Remember to maintain this leather by cleaning it occasionally with glycerin soap, then applying a nourishing layer: wax, grease, oil, cream, or milk.
