VEGETABLE TANNED BUTT - NATURAL

This natural-colored, waterproof, vegetable-tanned leather butt is ideal for your small leather goods creations, pouches, satchels, quivers, cases... On the flesh side, the leather is raw.

This leather has been waterproofed, but you can still dye it. In this case, we recommend using alcohol-based dye Fiebing's Pro Dye.

This leather can be used for tooling and carving, but the result will be less clean than with "Premium" type leather. We recommend wetting the leather from the suede side or by fully immersing the piece in water, and also using the leather preparation product for modeling - Easy Carve concentrate - Eco-Flo (Ref: 2621_02)

MAINTENANCE TIPS FOR VEGETABLE TANNED BUTT 

This vegetable-tanned butt leather is already waterproofed. We advise you to remember to maintain the leather by cleaning it regularly with glycerin soap, then applying a layer of wax or nourishing milk.
