VEGETABLE TANNED BUTT LEATHER
Vegetable tanned butt leather, ideal for your creations such as leather goods, belts, saddlery, satchels, knife sheaths or other items…This nourished leather, semi-aniline, has a through tannage. Its antique finish has the particularity of highlighting the leather's own characteristics and enhancing the authenticity of the material. Over time, it will develop a patina and become even more beautiful. It has a matte finish that gives a uniform color with some nuances due to the vegetable tanning. This leather is well-nourished, it has good flexibility which allows it to be easily shaped. It has a slightly greasy touch.

This is a finished leather, which means you cannot do tooling on it, but hot stamping works very well.
Remember to maintain this leather by cleaning it occasionally with glycerin soap and then applying a nourishing layer: wax, grease, oil, cream, or milk.
