SKIVING / THINNING TOOL 3001
This tool, designed for right-handed users, is used to safely skive leather, meaning to reduce its thickness to facilitate assemblies or create turned edges. The firmer the leather, the easier it is to skive.
It takes a bit of practice to master the tool, so feel free to practice on scrap pieces.
This black steel skiving knife comes with interchangeable razor-type blades.

The leather skiving knife is sold with one blade.
Caution: the blade is extremely sharp; use with care.
