Description

ELECTRIC THREAD ZAPPER

This Thread Zap II electric thread zapper melts synthetic threads (polyester, nylon, etc.) as close as possible to your sewing. The tip heats up quickly by pressing the button and allows for a clean cut.

This tool operates with one AA battery, not included. For optimal lifespan, we recommend removing the battery during prolonged non-use. When the thread zapper takes a long time to heat up for cutting, the battery needs to be changed.

This thread zapper does not work with linen or cotton threads.

Instructions for use:
- Install the battery by unscrewing the bottom of the thread zapper.
- Press and hold the button for a few seconds to activate the heated tip.
- Keep the button pressed and briefly touch the thread to cut it.
- Allow to cool for a few seconds before touching the thread.
- Replace the protective cap as soon as the thread zapper is no longer in use.

Approximate dimensions:
- Length (without cap): 14 cm
- Length (with cap): 16 cm
- Handle diameter: 1.7 cm

Plastic handle.
Replacement tips are sold separately (ref. TA898).

Note 1: This tool is designed for moderate use in creative hobbies; it cannot be used for professional purposes.

Note 2: If the replacement tip does not fit correctly on the thread zapper or does not heat continuously, squeeze the branches of the replacement tip to improve the attachment and contact with the tool.

Sold individually, AA battery not included.

Depending on arrivals, the model may vary slightly.
