COGNAC BUTT LEATHER - MATTE SAUVAGE
Cognac is a sure bet, naturally associated with the authentic look of leather. Its timeless color allows it to transcend seasons without ever losing its appeal.
Discover the Sauvage range in its new matte version of butt leather. Pleasant to work with, this naturally striated leather with a soft feel is highly appreciated by all leather enthusiasts. This high-quality full-grain leather is ideal for making leather goods (bags, pouches...), luggage, accessories, and more.
The butt leather from the Sauvage range is a full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather, dyed through and with an "antique" finish that highlights the leather's natural characteristics (veining, neck wrinkles, and imperfections from the animal's life such as small scars, insect bites...). However, these imperfections (very few in number) quickly give way to the leather's authenticity. Over time, this leather will develop a patina and become even more beautiful. Thanks to a matte aniline finish, it retains all the authenticity and depth of its hue, which will develop a patina over time.

Deco Cuir Info:
- Defect-free leather does not exist. Vegetable-tanned leather is a quality leather that does not hide the animal's life marks and develops a patina over time. With this type of leather, you need to judiciously position your creations' templates before cutting.
- This is a finished leather, meaning you cannot do tooling on it, but hot stamping works very well.
- On this leather, the flesh side is kept in its raw state, meaning it has not undergone any finishing. Haloes or color variations may be visible. You can dye it if you wish or add a lining according to your preferences.
