This shoulder leather comes from the Radermecker tannery. Pykara natural shoulder leather is a full-grain saddle leather, unpressed, uncorrected, with a smooth grain and flesh side. This leather is drummed with liquid oil in emulsion, to perfectly nourish the leather without it feeling greasy. This natural leather is ideal for tooling and can also be used for hot stamping and hammering. Due to its structure, cutting and sewing operations are pleasant.

This leather is a "tannery choice", meaning the hides have been carefully selected and therefore have very few defects. As a reminder, faultless leather does not exist. Vegetable-tanned leather is a quality leather that does not hide the animal's life marks and develops a patina over time. With this type of leather, you need to judiciously place the patterns of your creations before cutting.

Characteristics of natural Pykara shoulder leather:
Natural Pykara shoulder leather is nourished with oil in emulsion. This is a liquid oil nourishment that we add in our drums. Having no dye, natural Pykara shoulder leather can be dyed and the edges finished with edge dye.
Natural Pykara shoulder leather can be used for all leather goods, small leather goods and cutlery items: belts, wallets, cardholders, key rings, bags, satchels, pouches, bracelets, watch straps, desk pads, knife sheaths, dog and cat collars...
It can also be used in furniture, such as for creating or restoring rigid and thick leather chair or armchair seats, for covering a desk top or for covering wardrobe doors.
Care instructions for natural Pykara shoulder leather:
Allow the nourishment to penetrate correctly on the grain side and the flesh side. Once damp, you can dry the leather at room temperature. This will stiffen it, which is the ideal process for molding or tooling.
