This twisted polyester thread is made of 3 strands twisted together to obtain a round thread, resistant to deformation, stretching, and abrasion. The wax facilitates the thread's glide during sewing, prevents knot formation, keeps the strands from fraying, and protects the thread throughout its lifespan.
