CHINOIS SPOOL THREAD - GLACED WHEAT CORD

Glazed cabled linen thread is a high-end, very strong thread. It is a natural thread that allows for the creation of traditional and authentic products while offering an incomparable aesthetic and great solidity.

Cabled thread is a twist that is assembled a second time with several ends, then re-twisted "wet". This moistening prevents the linen fibers from being altered. Cabling increases resistance and produces a very round thread, generally used for luxury leather goods.
This linen thread is glazed, which means it has been passed through a starch bath containing beeswax. It then underwent horsehair brushing and stretching. These operations produce a smooth, resistant thread that has stiffness, good glide to facilitate sewing, and hold.

Thread diameter: 0.43 mm
50-gram spool, or 375 meters of thread
