LINEN THREAD SPOOL - GLAZED WHEAT CORDED THREAD

Glazed corded linen thread is a high-end, very strong thread. It is a natural thread that allows for the creation of traditional and authentic products while offering an incomparable aesthetic and very high durability.

Corded thread is a twisted thread that is assembled a second time with several ends then twisted "wet". This moistening ensures that the linen fibers are not altered. Cording increases resistance and produces a very round thread, generally used for luxury leather goods.
This linen thread is glazed, which means it is passed through a starch bath to which beeswax has been added. It then undergoes horsehair brushing and stretching. These operations result in a smooth and resistant thread that has rigidity, good glide for easy sewing, and hold.

Thread diameter: 0.43 mm
50 gram spool, or 375 meters of thread
