REQUIRED MATERIAL

To make this keychain tutorial, you will need:

  • 1 piece of leather SATINLYS, SAUVAGE or SATINATO - 15 x 20 cm - 1.2 mm thick
  • 1 set of 5 MINI NICKEL plated brass snap fasteners - 10.5 mm diameter
  • 1 snap fastener setting tool kit
  • 1 Star Eyelet Kit and Setting Tool - 4 mm - NICKEL
  • 1 Round Keychain Ring - NICKEL - 22 mm diameter
  • 1 punch with 3 mm diameter
  • Edge finish - Colorcut - 30 ml

1. CUT THE LEATHER

Download the pattern from our website. Print it at actual size and cut the leather. Punch the leather with the 3 mm round punch.

2. ATTACH THE 2 SNAP FASTENERS

Using a setting tool, attach the mini snap fasteners.

3. ATTACH THE EYELETS

Attach the 2 star eyelets (4 mm) (the setting tool is included in the kit).

4. FINISH THE EDGES

Sand the edges then apply a coat of dye. Let dry then apply one or two more coats of dye if necessary. Sand between each coat.

5. ATTACH THE KEYCHAIN RING

Thread the round keychain ring through the eyelets, along with your keys.
