THE NECESSARY EQUIPMENT

To complete this tutorial, you will need:

  • 1 piece of SATINLYS leather - 15 x 20 cm - 1.2 mm thick
  • 1 set of 5 MINI snap buttons in NICKEL-PLATED brass - diameter 10.5 mm
  • 1 set of press studs
  • 1 star eyelet kit and installation tool - 4 mm - NICKELE
  • 1 round keychain ring - NICKELE - diam 22 mm
  • 1 cookie cutter 3 mm in diameter
  • Edge finish - Colorcut - 30 ml

1. CUT THE LEATHER

Download the pattern from our site. Print it in real size and cut out the leather. Pierce the leather using the 3 mm round cookie cutter.

2. INSTALL THE 2 PRESS BUTTONS

Using an installation tool, install the mini snap buttons.

3. INSTALL THE EYELETS

Install the 2 4 mm star eyelets (the installation tool is provided in the kit).

4. WORK THE SLICES

Sand the edges then apply a coat of stain. Let dry then apply one or two more coats of stain if necessary. Sand between each coat.

5. PASS THE KEY RING

Pass the round key ring through the eyelets along with your keys.
