CREASER - HAND STITCHING
This metal tool allows you to create a fine, precise, and perfectly parallel line along the edge of your leather piece. This line serves as a guide to facilitate the positioning of your pricking iron and create straight hand stitches.
How to use: Place the longer part on the edge of the leather. Then slide the tool along the leather's edge so that the sharp point (the shorter part) marks the leather.
Dimensions:
- Tool length: 110 mm
- Handle diameter: 6 mm
- Distance between the leather edge and the marked line: 2.5mm - 3mm - 3.5mm - 4mm or 5mm.
This range of tools, made in Japan by Oka, is of high quality. They are pleasant and easy to use. The handles are knurled, providing a good grip.
The distance between the leather edge and the marked line is engraved on the top of the handle.
We recommend using this tool on vegetable-tanned leather. The marking is less clear on mineral-tanned (chrome) leather.
Sold individually and alone (without pricking iron).
Made in Japan by OKA.
