DECO CUIR POLISHING BOARD MADE IN FRANCE
This strop will allow you to maintain the sharpness of all your cutting tools, from knives to razors, to obtain a perfectly sharp blade.
On one side of the wooden board, there is a vegetable-tanned shoulder leather (grain side), thickness: 2.5 mm minimum, for finishing the sharpening of the blade (photo 1). The other side is covered with split/flesh side leather (the color may vary depending on arrivals) for applying the sharpening paste (photo 2).
The paste should be applied to the leather piece, which has been previously oiled with fine oil (available on our website), by rubbing the stick vigorously.
Then, pass the blade over the leather, alternating front and back, following the cutting edge to gradually sharpen the steel of the blade.
The strop has an ergonomic handle for a better grip!
Deco Cuir tip: For the first sharpening, start with sandpaper (500 grit to begin and finish with 1000 grit).
