DECO LEATHER POLISHING BOARD
This strop will allow you to maintain the sharpness of all your cutting tools , from knives to razors, to obtain a perfectly sharp blade.
On the wooden board, one side is covered with vegetable tanned leather (grain side) , thickness: 2.5 mm minimum, to finish sharpening the blade (photo 1). The other side is covered with leather on the crust/flesh side ( the color may vary depending on arrivals) to apply the sharpening paste (photo 2).
The paste should be applied to the piece of leather previously oiled with fine oil (available on our website) by rubbing the stick vigorously.
You then need to pass the blade over the leather alternately front and back, respecting the cutting edge to gradually sharpen the steel of the blade.
The strop has an ergonomic handle for a better grip!
Deco Cuir Tip : For the first sharpening, start with sandpaper (500 grit to start and finish with 1000 grit).

The hole at the bottom of the handle will allow you to attach your strop and store it more easily.
