LEATHER STROP FOR SHARPENING / HONING
Maintain the edge of your cutting tools, knife, or razor with this leather strop and get a perfectly sharp blade!
This strop is a wooden tool composed of a flesh side leather for applying polishing paste and a grain side leather for wiping your blade after honing (edge maintenance).
The paste should be applied to the pre-oiled piece of leather by rubbing the stick vigorously.
Then, pass the blade over the leather, alternating front and back, following the cutting edge to gradually hone the blade's steel.
Tip: Do an initial sharpening starting with wet sandpaper (500 grit to start and finishing at 1000 grit)
