The appearance of the tool on the leather depends on several parameters, such as the tool's temperature, the type of leather, and the speed at which the hot tool passes over the leather. We recommend always testing on leather scraps to adjust the settings.

Usage recommendations: Regularly check that the heating tool is firmly tightened on the handle to prevent oxidation and avoid creating an electrical fault between the tool and the handle.

Deco Cuir Info: The tips may blacken more or less after a few uses. Residues of edge dye or other finishing products may also remain stuck to your tools. You can clean them by using polishing paste previously applied to a piece of leather and rubbing the lukewarm tool (TH2 to 4) on it. In case of extreme fouling, extra fine steel wool (000) can be used. Be careful not to touch the electrical resistance part to avoid damaging it.
