Sharpener - Sharpening tool for Skimini trimmer blades

SKIMINI BLADE SHARPENING TOOL

This tool is used to sharpen Skimini skiving machine's "Sharpening blades" (only blades ref.: TA995). Each blade can be sharpened up to 4 times.
This sharpener is easy to use and provides uniform sharpening to restore the sharpness of your blades.

This tool is to be used with a #6000 grit sharpening stone (sold separately). The width of the stone should be between 66 and 75 mm (you can adjust the width of the sharpener using the screws).
We recommend using the "6000 grit sharpening stone - 210x70x25mm" (ref. TA997).

Warning : "High grade blades" (ref. TA463) and blades ref. TA462 cannot be sharpened.

Usage tips (see video):
- It is advisable to wear gloves when handling the blade to avoid cuts.
- Secure the blade on the sharpener.
- Prepare the sharpening stone according to the instructions provided in its manual.
- Make 10 to 15 back-and-forth movements, pressing the sharpener lightly on the stone.
- Turn the blade over on the sharpener and repeat the back-and-forth operation.
- Remove the blade from the sharpener, wipe it thoroughly, and replace it on your Skimini skiving machine.
