LEATHER DYE BLOCKER AND FIXER

The RTC is specially designed to enhance your metal spinning and modeling work. This professional product has 2 uses. The first, it is used as a pore filler , i.e. it will allow you to hide areas of leather that you do not want to tint so that the pigments do not cling to the leather when dye. The second use is that it serves as a fixative after dyeing / patina. It will bring additional resistance to your creations so that they hold up better over time.

For the pore filler function, this product is to be applied once the embossing is finished. Place it generously with a sheepskin on all of your work for a classic relief (that is to say that the repoussé reliefs will be darker and that the non repoussé will be lighter). You can also do selective masking by applying the RTC with a fine brush to the areas to be protected.
The product must be allowed to dry well before proceeding to the dyeing stage. For more security, we advise you to apply 2 coats of pore sealer to prevent an area from being completely "watertight" at the time of dyeing.

For the dye fixing function, this product is to be applied once the dye is finished and completely dry. Lay the RTC generously with a sheepskin over all of your work. Apply this product in circular motions. You can also put a 2' layer to better protect your work according to its use.
