FLAT RIVETS Ø 9 MM

With a flat head on one side and a standard head on the other, these rivets are perfect for assembling leather pieces while adding a touch of originality.

These rivets can be used to crimp a leather thickness between 2 and 4 mm.

Dimensions :
- Diameter of the flat cap (female part): 9 mm
- Diameter of the standard cap (male part = post): 9 mm (T4)
- Length of the post shank: 7 mm
- Diameter of the post shank (= drilling diameter for installation): 3 mm

Assembly :
- These rivets are installed with the setting tool for flat-head rivets 9 mm in diameter (Ref: 8081-01) and an anvil (sold separately).
- You can also set the rivets with a bench press by using the upper part of a T4 rivet setting die (to set the post, which has a "standard" cap) and a perfectly smooth brass base (to set the flat cap - Warning: do not use the lower part of the setting die as this could damage the flat head of your rivet. Use a base without any marks to avoid transferring these marks onto the cap. We advise you to use a new base that has not been used with punches.
