OKA GROOVING TOOL - LEATHER GROOVER
Designed by OKA in Japan, this leather groover is ideal for cutting wide, clean, and consistent channels in firm leather (vegetable or mineral tanned). By removing material, it makes folding thick leather easier, protects stitching thread from friction and wear, and allows for the creation of decorative grooves.
The blade is positioned in the center of the tool for more precise marking. We recommend using a ruler as a guide to achieve perfectly straight lines.
The hardened steel blade is easily replaceable using the included Allen key. Replacement blades ref. TB289 and replacement screws ref. TB537 are sold separately
The wooden handle is ergonomic. The non-slip area on the ferrule allows you to position your finger securely when tracing the groove.
