Pro Resist - After Spinning Protector - Fiebing's -118ml

Fiebing's Pro Resist is specially designed to enhance your metal spinning and modeling work. This professional product has 2 uses. The first, it is used as a pore filler , i.e. it will allow you to hide areas of leather that you do not want to tint so that the pigments do not cling to the leather when the stain or patina. The second use is that it serves as a fixative after dyeing. It is an excellent finish that will resist humidity, sun and dirt. It is soluble in water, but once dry it acts as an incredible protection on smooth and sculpted leathers .

For the pore filler function, this product is to be applied once the embossing is finished. Place it generously with a brush or a sheepskin on all of your work for a classic highlighting (ie the repelled reliefs will be darker and the non-repelled ones will be lighter). You can also do selective masking by applying Pro Resist with a fine brush to the areas to be protected.
The product must be allowed to dry well before proceeding to the dyeing stage. For more security, we advise you to apply 2 coats of filler to prevent an area from being completely "watertight" at the time of dyeing.

For the dye fixing function, this product is to be applied once the dye is finished and completely dry. Apply Pro Resist liberally to all of your work. Apply this product in circular motions. You can also put a 2' layer to better protect your work according to its use.
