Foil marking or transfer heat press - Craftplus - 3970-00

Personalize your leather quickly and easily with this heat press ! Thanks to heat, it allows you to create text markings (embossing) or foil transfers on many types of leather (mineral and vegetable tanned):
- Hot stamping works well on all types of leather (smooth leather, grained leather, suede, patent leather...).
- Foil transfer works on smooth leathers but is not recommended on leathers with a textured surface (grained leathers, suede splits...).
We recommend that you always test on scraps of leather beforehand.

Two solid brass single-line character holders are included . They can hold up to 14 characters each. This allows you to work on two projects simultaneously, without waiting for the letters to cool before changing the text.
Note: The 4.5mm and 6mm brass character sets are sold separately. Character holders (ref. 3970-50) are also available separately.

The machine is equipped with a digital display that shows the temperature, a sliding tray to properly position your leather and a compartment to store the character holders.

Leather Decorating Tips :
- To use it, fix the machine to a work surface.
- Perform tests on scraps of leather to get a good feel for the machine and always test the marking on scraps when using new leather.
- For a nice marking, we advise you to set the temperature between 140°C and 150°C and press firmly on the handle for a few seconds.
- Conversely, when using foil, apply 2 or 3 light, quick presses for mineral-tanned leather. For vegetable-tanned leather, apply a single, gentle press.
