Foil marking or transfer heat press - Craftplus - 3970-00

Quickly and easily personalize your leather with this hot press! Thanks to the heat, it allows for text marking (embossing) or foil transfers on many types of leather (mineral and vegetable tanning):
- Hot stamping works well on all types of leather (smooth, grained, split suede, patent leather...).
- Foil transfer works on smooth leathers but is not recommended on textured leathers (grained leathers, split suede...).
We advise you to always test on leather scraps beforehand.

Two solid brass single-line type holders are included. They can hold up to 14 characters each. This allows you to work on two projects simultaneously, without waiting for the letters to cool down to change the text.
Note: 4.5mm and 6mm brass character sets are sold separately. You can also find type holders ref. 3970-50 sold separately.

The machine is equipped with a digital screen that displays the temperature, a sliding tray to properly position your leather, and a compartment for storing the type holders.

Deco Cuir Tips :
- To use, fix the machine on a workbench.
- Practice on leather scraps to get a feel for the machine and always test marking on scraps when using new leather.
- For a nice mark, we recommend setting the temperature between 140°C and 150°C and pressing firmly on the handle for a few seconds.
- Conversely, when using foil, apply 2 or 3 light, quick presses for mineral-tanned leather. For vegetable-tanned leather, apply 1 gentle press.
