LEATHER MARKING AND STAMPING MACHINE

The heat press allows you to customize your leather quickly and easily by performing text marking (embossing) or foil transfer on vegetable or mineral-tanned leather.

This heat press is compatible with Deco Cuir brass character holders (ref. TB334, sold separately). It is also possible to use your own brass stamps if they have an M5 mounting thread. This is the ideal solution for artisans and leatherworkers who want to personalize their creations with their logo, for example.
Installing the character holder is very simple: start by screwing the threaded rod onto the character holder, then pass the rod through the hole in the heating plate, add the washer, and tighten the nut (this should only be done when the heating plate and character holder are cold).

The machine is equipped with a digital screen that displays the temperature. After turning on the switch (at the back of the machine), press the SET button (on the front of the machine) then use the arrows to set the temperature. The desired temperature is shown in green (SV) and the real-time temperature is shown in red (PV).

The height of the heating plate is adjusted using the two screws located on the arm axis at the back of the machine.

The bottom plate is graduated in centimeters to help you position your leather accurately. Perfect for batch projects where you need to maintain the same placement from one piece to the next.
To press firmly without slipping, the handle is equipped with a non-slip grip.

Deco Cuir tips:
- To use, secure the cast iron base to a workbench (4 holes are pre-drilled).
- Hot stamping works well on all types of leather (smooth, grained, suede, patent, etc.).
- Foil transfer works on smooth leathers but is not recommended on textured leathers (grained, suede, etc.).
- Perform tests on leather scraps to get comfortable with the machine and always test the marking on scraps when using new leather.
- For a nice mark, we recommend setting the temperature to about 180°C and pressing down firmly on the handle for about 3 seconds.
- For use with foil, set the temperature to about 100°C and apply pressure for about 1 second.
