CLEAN AND PREPARE LEATHER BEFORE DYEING

Fiebing's DYE-PREP has been specially formulated to clean and prepare natural vegetable-tanned leather to receive dye. This product is used on leather that has not been dyed or finished.

Use of this product is recommended when you encounter difficulties in getting the dye to penetrate your leather because it opens the pores. DYE-PREP helps achieve a more uniform dye by helping the dye spread into the leather, thus preventing the appearance of halos.

Instructions for use:
- Use a small brush to apply the prep solution to the leather and rub until absorbed.
- Wipe off excess product with a clean cloth, then immediately apply the desired dye.

It is highly recommended to test the effect of this product on scraps of your leather to master its use, as it will change your dyeing habits. The effect of this product is different for each dye and each leather.

This product contains ammonia and ethanol. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with water for 15 minutes and call a doctor. In case of ingestion, drink a quarter liter of water. Do not induce vomiting and call a doctor.
