Type holder for heat press 3970-00 - Craftplus

1-LINE TYPE HOLDER

This solid brass type holder is used with the 3970-00 Craftplus hot press to customize your leather creations.
It is compatible with 4.5 mm and 6 mm brass type sets and can hold up to 14 characters on the line.

This brass type holder conducts heat well and distributes it evenly for perfect marking on all types of leather (mineral and vegetable tanned). The rubber handle is unscrewable and heat-resistant to prevent burns.

It will be very useful when you want to carry out several projects simultaneously without waiting for the type holder to cool down to reposition all the characters.

External dimensions of the tool:
- Total length of the tool: 180 mm
- Handle diameter: 22 mm
- Dimensions of the brass part (width x length x height): 23.6 x 101 x 13.6 mm

Internal dimensions of the type holder (for inserting types):
- Length: 100 mm
- Width: 14.6 mm
- Height: 3 mm

Instructions for use:
- Using the Allen key, remove the clamping ends from each end of the tool.
- With the pliers, slide the types in reverse order to obtain a mirror effect (the last letter of a word must be placed first on the type holder).
- Retighten the ends with the Allen key.
- Insert the type holder into the slot provided for this purpose on the hot press.
We advise you to always test on leather scraps beforehand.
