These fitting plates, perfect for equipping horse hooves, are made from vegetable tanned leather. The selected leather is treated with a solution of paraffin and beef fat, which makes cutting easier. This greasy impregnation preserves the natural thickness of the leather fitting plate, giving it resistance to high pressure and shock absorption capacity.
