LOW PRICE CUTTING PLATE - LEATHER WORKING
This cutting plate is designed to offer you unrivaled longevity, without marking your leather and without damaging your tools !
It is ideal for using striking tools (impact claws, cookie cutters, etc.).
Through use, punching tools leave marks in the cutting plates which can be transferred to your leather. OKA plates have the particularity of being able to find a smoother surface thanks to these methods (see the video and photos) :
1. You can use a roller to flatten the irregularities.
2. You can place a sheet of baking paper (sulfurized) on the cutting plate and use the heat of an iron to fill in the holes.
The plate is thick to reduce noise when hitting metal tools. It is lightly textured to have a non-slip surface. The hardness of the plate has been studied to reduce rebound and preserve the tool blades.
