SHARPENING STONE FOR CUTTING TOOLS

Sharpening your blades is essential for leatherworking to achieve clean, precise cuts. This sharpening stone is crucial for quickly and efficiently sharpening your cutting tools (knives, razors, scissors, edge bevelers, etc.) to keep them in perfect working order.

This tool is equipped with a triangular stone block and an easy-to-use direct-pass knife sharpener.

The sharpening stone has 3 sides with different grits to progressively sharpen your blade:
- 400 grit (strong) - diamond stone: for preparing for sharpening.
- 1000 grit (medium) - diamond stone: for maintaining and restoring the sharpness of tools.
- 2000 grit (fine) - ceramic stone: for a very sharp finish.
Diamond sharpening surfaces consist of a metal plate coated with high-quality diamond particles (diamond DMD). This technology ensures uniform and lasting contact with the tools being sharpened.

The direct-pass knife sharpener is designed to maintain an optimal cutting angle. It features two offset carbide blades for sharpening double-edged blades or kitchen knives.

The triangular sharpening stone sits on the non-slip plastic base to ensure stability while sharpening your tools. Its compact size makes it easy to carry, and its light weight allows for easy rotation of each side.

Instructions for use :
- Begin sharpening with the 400 grit stone: apply oil (e.g., ref. TB184 ) , then gently run the blade over the stone, following the cutting edge. Repeat this process on both sides of the blade.
- Repeat the operation on the 1000 grit stone and then on the 2000 grit stone.
- Clean and dry the stones after use.
