ANGELUS GREEN GLOW IN THE DARK

Angelus leather paint is THE benchmark for all product "customizers" such as sneakers. This paint can also be used on leather goods (belt, wallet...), saddlery, furniture or automotive items.

This acrylic paint has a very slight green tint in daylight and glows with a neon green light at night (see the sneaker example in photo 2).
It is necessary to expose the paint to light beforehand (preferably sunlight) to then activate the luminous effect in the dark.

Angelus paints are quality paints with a high pigment content. The paint must be thoroughly mixed by shaking the bottle vigorously before use. Some colors are difficult to mix and small lumps may appear during application. Simply smooth them out with the brush to make them disappear. This is normal and does not constitute a quality defect.

Usage recommendations for shoes :
- It is very important to prepare your shoe before painting to achieve an optimal result. Clean it carefully, even if it is new. You can use Angelus preparer and cleaner before painting (ref. WA056).
Once dry, wipe with a microfiber cloth to remove any remaining dust.
For very smooth leather such as patent leather, you can very lightly sand the surface with very fine sandpaper so that the paint adheres well.
- When painting, make sure to apply very thin coats to avoid cracking during drying. The paint can be applied with a brush or airbrush. Let the paint dry for 10 to 15 minutes between coats. Several coats are necessary to achieve a uniform result.
Never dry the paint with a hair dryer, as it may crack.
- Allow to dry for at least 24 hours before fixing and protecting your paint with a standard acrylic finish or a reinforced 4-coat finish. We advise applying 2 or 3 coats. This will significantly reduce wear and scratches on your leather. The more or less glossy effect of the finish will only be visible in daylight and will not affect the glow of the phosphorescent paint in the dark.

Brushes can be cleaned with soapy water or with a brush cleaner (Ref. WA075).
It is possible to use the paint on another surface: fabric (2-soft), plastic (2-hard) by mixing it with a special additive.
