Add a touch of elegance to your creations. Ostrich leg leather has been used for a very long time in exceptional leather goods.
The structure of this leather resembles reptile skin and is characterized by the presence of scales of varying shapes throughout the skin.

Minor defects: Insect bites, light scratches, folds, stains, or cosmetic defects that remain on the surface and do not weaken the leather.
Major defects: Holes or scratches that may go through the leather.

This leather is particular because there are several types of leather within one skin:
- center with scales, this is the ostrich tibia (the upper scales may peel off; you can use leather glue to secure them to the leather)
- side (small grains), this is the ostrich leg
- top and bottom, more or less firm grains.

This leather is mainly used for decorating small leather goods (wallets, card holders, coin purses...), pouches, watch straps, or jewelry (pendants, bracelets, earrings).
It is preferable to use small inclusions of material and combine it with another leather (calf or goat) to create contrasts and highlight the ostrich leg leather.
