EXOTIC LEATHER - BURGUNDY LEATHER
Add a touch of elegance to your creations. Ostrich leg leather has long been used in exquisite leather goods.

| Choice | Defects |
| 2nd choice | Some major defects on the central scale and on the rest of the skin. Ideal for manufacturing small parts. |
Minor defects: Insect bites, light scratches, creases, stains or cosmetic defects that remain on the surface and do not weaken the skin.
Major defects: Holes or scratches that may go through the leather.
This leather is special because there are several types of leather within a hide:
- center with scales, this is the ostrich tibia (the top scales can come off, you can use leather glue to stick them to the leather)
- side (small grains), it is the ostrich leg
- top and bottom, more or less firm grains.
This leather is mainly used to decorate small leather goods (wallets, card holders, purses, etc.), pouches, watch straps or jewelry (pendants, bracelets, earrings).
It is necessary to favor small touches of inclusion of material and to associate it with another leather (calf or goat) in order to create contrasts and highlight the ostrich leg leather.
