Arizona cowhide leather has the particularity of having a "two-tone" finish: Its finish is obtained during the manufacturing process. The leather is first pigmented then grained. Then, a darker colored lacquer is applied to the tops of the grains. This gives a double shade that creates contrast and accentuates the relief. This double tone is more or less pronounced depending on the color.
