FULL-SIZE PATTERN - DIY ROLL-TOP BACKPACK
This full-size pattern, by Creative Awl for Tandy Leather, includes all the paper pieces to sew a leather roll-top backpack. It allows you to make two sizes of roll-top backpacks: a small size ideal for daily use and a large size perfect for outings. Many practical pockets are integrated to help you store all your belongings: a good backpack should be able to hold everything you need and find it easily! A bottle holder pouch is also integrated on one side.
The sewing of this bag is done by hand. The pattern contains all the hole locations for simplified hand sewing (ideal for beginners). It is also possible to do saddle stitching if you want a more traditional stitch.
All instructions are translated into French, English, and Spanish.
An explanatory video will help you follow all the crafting steps one by one.
Feel free to consult our guide on hole stitching or saddle stitching.
