LIFE-SIZE PATTERN - DIY MESSENGER BAG

Make your own Paxton leather messenger bag with this life-size pattern and assembly instructions. This flap-over shoulder bag is inspired by courier bags. It will suit both men and women.

Level: intermediate. The assembly is seamless.

All instructions are translated into French, English, and Spanish. Measurements are indicated in centimeters and inches.

- Medium-soft to firm or firm leather - Thickness 1.6 to 2.4 mm - Surface 0.85 m²
- 1 leather strap * - Width 30 mm - Length 100 cm - Thickness 3.2 to 4 mm
- 1 leather strap * - Width 30 mm - Length 140 cm - Thickness 3.2 to 4 mm
- 2 collar buttons
- 6 Chicago screws
- 2 staples for leather loops (or thread and needle)

- 1 cutter or scissors

* The pattern suggests buying a leather hide of 3.2 to 4 mm, to avoid waste and reduce your leather budget, we recommend using leather straps. For piece F, you can use leather with a thickness of 1.6 to 2.4 mm.
