This piece of black vegetable-tanned collar leather is ideal for your creations of small leather goods: wallets, card holders, handles, knife cases, etc.

This leather is already mass-dyed in the tannery (uniform color). The grain of the leather is covered with a protective layer of colored wax which gives good color intensity and ensures waterproofing. This gives it a satin appearance.

On the flesh side, this leather is also finished: it has received a layer of colored wax which provides a nice finish by gluing the fibers together.

This is finished leather, meaning you won't be able to emboss it but hot stamping works very well.

Remember to maintain this leather by cleaning it from time to time with glycerin soap then applying a nourishing layer: wax, grease, oil, cream or milk.
