This vegetable-tanned butt leather is ideal for your leather goods creations, bags, pouches, knife sheaths, or other items…This beautiful, high-quality leather comes from the Masure tannery in Belgium. Its grain is artificial, created by embossing.
This grained leather has the advantage of being very scratch-resistant, so you will be able to create beautiful, durable items.

This leather is already dyed full thickness at the tannery. The color is uniform, and the grain of the leather has then been covered with a protective layer that gives good color intensity and ensures its waterproofing. On the flesh side, this leather is unfinished.
Remember to maintain this leather by cleaning it occasionally with glycerine soap, then applying a nourishing layer: wax, grease, oil, cream, or milk.
