LEATHER TOOL KIT

This tool kit contains all the essential materials to make your first hand-stitched leather seams.
The tools have been selected by Deco Cuir for beginners who wish to equip themselves with professional quality equipment while managing their budget.

To help you learn how to use these tools, this kit includes a leather cut-out to assemble a case for storing your pricking irons.

The tool kit contains:
- 1 direct reading mini-compass - dry point - Deco Cuir (ref. TB140): it allows you to draw stitching lines parallel to the edge of the leather.
- 3 precision pricking irons N°8 - 3.38 mm spacing - Pricking points - Deco Cuir (ref. TA521_338): these allow you to mark the interval between stitches on the leather to achieve beautiful, regular seams.
- 1 sharpened awl with clamps - Blade dimensions: 38 x 2.6 x 1.4 mm - Vergez Blanchard (ref. TA875_0038): this allows you to pierce the leather at the location of the stitches, previously marked with the precision pricking irons.
- 1 round awl - Oka (ref. TA947): this allows you to enlarge a hole, start and finish stitches, and pass the thread through a seam.
- 4 round-tip needles - size M (Ø 1.05 mm - Length 60 mm) - Oka (ref. CA138_M)
- 1 leather cut-out for a precision pricking iron case - Deco Cuir (ref. KA197)
- 1 instruction manual with step-by-step instructions and illustrations for assembling the case

Required materials (not included) for assembling the case:
- glue
- 1 mallet
- thread
