STAMP MATTING - LEATHER PUSHING

Matting handle stamps are used to create background textures, on the periphery of the drawing in order to highlight it and fill the space around it. They increase the depth and thus make it possible to bring out the reliefs.

The handle stamps are made of high strength zinc alloy. The handles are knurled which gives them a good grip.
They are used with a "Maul" type mallet in nylon, polymer, leather or wood.
Do not use a steel hammer.
