THUMBPRINT STAMP - LEATHER REPUSHING
OKA is a Japanese manufacturer with a passion for working with leather . It manufactures high quality tools that are pleasant to use and suitable for beginners and experienced alike.The “ Thumbprint” stamps on handles allow you to work on shadows , their pattern resembles a fingerprint. Unlike the "Pear Shader" stamps, they are oblong shaped and have two different sized ends that are both usable. These stamps are widely used in Sheridan style embossing.

The handle stamps are made of high strength zinc alloy. The handles are knurled which gives them a good grip.
They are used with a "Maul" type mallet made of nylon, polymer, leather or wood.
Do not use a steel hammer.
