MATOIR MATTING TEXTURE ROCHER - LEATHER EMBOSSING
OKA is a Japanese manufacturer passionate about leatherwork . It makes high quality tools, pleasant to use and suitable for beginners and experienced users alike.Matting handle stamps are used to create background textures on the periphery of the design in order to highlight it and fill the space around it (see example in photo 5) . They increase the depth and thus allow the reliefs to stand out .

Handle diameter: 8 mm
The handle stamps are made of heavy duty zinc alloy. The handles are knurled which gives them a good grip.
They are used with a "Maul" type mallet made of nylon, polymer, leather or wood.
Do not use a steel hammer.
