Usage tips :
- Use natural vegetable-tanned leather at least 2.5 mm thick.
- Dampen the leather before stamping. To facilitate your tooling work, you can use a leather preparation such as Easy-Carve.
- Use a granite slab as a striking surface to prevent bouncing and achieve a clean, deep mark on the leather.
- Use a nylon, polymer, or wooden mallet or maul that is heavy enough (do not use a steel hammer).
