PAINTABLE REPAIR FILLER ANGELUS: HOLE FILLER
Angelus Paintable Repair Filler durably fills holes and repairs scratches on smooth leather, patent leather, vinyl, foam, bonded leather, synthetic leather...
This filling paste reconstitutes a smooth surface and offers a flexible finish that helps prevent future cracks. Used in a thin layer, it can be easily sanded and then painted with Angelus acrylic leather paints. It can be mixed directly with Angelus acrylic paint for an invisible repair.
This Angelus repair filler can be used for many everyday repairs: cracked sneaker midsole, cut on a sneaker upper, tear on an armchair, cat scratch on a sofa, scuff on a car seat, cigarette burn on a handbag, and much more.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE :
- Sand the area to be filled with fine-grit sandpaper, then dust with a microfiber cloth.
- Clean the leather with Angelus Leather Preparer and Deglazer (ref. WA056) to promote filler adhesion, then let dry.
- Apply a thin layer of Angelus repair filler with a spatula and let it dry completely (a thin, smooth layer adheres better, sands more easily, does not crack and thus ensures better durability).
- Repeat the application of the filler as many times as necessary to completely fill the surface (the filler shrinks as it dries). Sand and dust between each coat.
- Sand one last time to obtain a smooth surface, then dust.
- Apply Angelus acrylic leather paint and let dry for at least 48 hours.
RENOVATION TIP:
To renovate an item that is not pure white, the filler can be tinted by mixing it with Angelus acrylic leather paint. The painting step remains essential, but it will be easier to obtain a color close to that of your item, and any future scuff will not reveal the white filler. Ideal for invisible repairs on armchairs or seats, for example.
