This amaranth wood roller was designed by French artisan Jérôme David.
It is used to stretch the leather during gluing operations: it is essential for removing air bubbles between surfaces. It smooths the leather to prevent creases.

The amaranth wood used is hard and therefore very resistant. Its dark purple color offers beautiful reflections in the light.
It is comfortable to hold.
